Want to gain better skills and confidence to manage stress, anxiety, and emotions when confronted with challenging behaviours? Let’s face it, no one really wants to deal with difficult situations [people!] I mean, how annoying can that co-worker be; not to mention that high maintenance client; and don’t get me started on those exhaustingly difficult members of the public. They say life is not all sunshine and rainbows, and they are right about that! So, what can you do?

Well, you can start by arming yourself with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to realise you can deal with this! You can separate the emotions from the person and see the situation for what it is. By removing your emotional bias from the equation, you can navigate the somewhat treacherous waters knowing you have the skills to resolve and move the situation to calmer and safer waters [figuratively speaking!].

Now we all know that nothing beats practical application knowledge, so prepare to get uncomfortable [in a safe environment] to become confident in dealing with conflict. You will learn to take a step back, breathe, analyse, and approach the situation calmly. You will participate in tailored scenarios based on our motto, Realism in Training that are designed to allow for the practice of these resolution skills, with each scenario followed by a debriefing session.
