The BSBMGT617 Develop and implement a business plan (Business Plan) unit provides for those people who aspire to operate their own Security or Investigations business or undertake employment as a private contractor.

This course meets the skills and knowledge requirements that are needed to attain licensing requirements for the Business Criteria for Contractors: companies and Individuals under the Security and Investigation Industry Act 1995. The Business Plan unit covers the processes required for developing and implementing business strategies across basic risk assessment, operational planning and marketing and covers considerations for monitoring and reviewing business activity.

 

Who should attend?

This course is suitable to those who wish to apply for a Security/Investigation Agent’s licence to operate as a private contractor or where the applicant is a body corporate.

The Business Plan program is delivered via flexible self-paced study. This course allows for an immediate start and includes external course readings and assessment activities
